How To Add A Blog Website In Google Search Console 2021

In this post, we will learn how to add your blog to Google Search Console.

Step 1. Go-to https://search.google.com/search-console and then login with your Google account.

Step 2. Enter your blog address in the given area.

For Custom domain users: http://www.yourdomain.com you can also use HTTPS instead of HTTP if you have purchased an SSL certificate from your domain registrar.

For Normal blogger users: http://www.example.blogspot.com you can also use HTTPS instead of HTTP because bloggers provide SSL for their sub-domains freely.

Note: If you are using HTTPS make sure HTTPS redirect is 'on' in your blog Settings to check this go to setting and check for HTTPS redirection button

Step 3. If you have used the same google account to login in search console that was linked with a blogger account then your blog will automatically get verified. if not then copy the HTML code which is shown below.

Now go to your blogger settings and edit your theme html

Place the code below <head> tag on your theme Html and save the theme.

come back to your search console page and click verify. if not working wait for a minute and repeat again. your blog will be verified.

Now click on the sitemap button and write sitemap.xml and submit

Awesome! your blog is added to Google. You can also verify the indexing for your blog by searching in Google with "site:yourblog.com". Replace yourblog.com with the URL of your blog like here in my case it is site:bloggerassamese.blogspot.com/
